This is the first book on soap making that I have purchased - there was no second yet. It was enough for me to get started, and I have made two loafs so far without difficulty. The instructions were more than sufficient to get going. I can hardly wait to see the end products, need to wait one more week for the minimum two weeks waiting period.I even made the soapbox myself - went to Home Depot and asked the guy to cut up the long piece of wood to get the exact dimensions as described in the book. It works great! Thank you.
